As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure maximum test coverage across applications.
- Perform end-to-end functional, regression, system integration, and data migration testing.
- Test web, mobile, and REST API applications using tools such as Postman.
- Create, execute, and manage test cases using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
- Validate data using SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server).
- Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives using Python-based frameworks such as Robot Framework or PyTest.
- Identify, track, and report software defects while ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT-related discipline.
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL (preferably MS SQL Server).
- Experience using Azure DevOps for test management.
- Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman.
- Experience with Python-based automation frameworks (Robot Framework or PyTest).
- Knowledge of system integration testing and data migration testing.
- Experience in banking, payments, or credit card domains is preferred.
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with Temenos Transact Core Banking System is desirable.
You should possess the ability to:
- Design effective test strategies and ensure complete test coverage.
- Execute manual and automated testing across multiple platforms.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Test APIs, web applications, and mobile applications efficiently.
- Coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders.
- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and recommend quality improvements.
- Work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams while managing multiple testing activities.
- Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Communicate technical findings clearly with cross-functional teams.
