AM Only Reception Teacher Oldham

About the role:

We are working with a welcoming and supportive partner primary school in Oldham that is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis from September.

This is a morning-only role, with teaching hours from 8:30am to 12:00pm, followed by PPA time from 12:00pm to 12:30pm each day.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Reception.
• Create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess children’s progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support children’s development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Pre-requisites:

• Has a strong background in Early Years.
• Has an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
• Is confident in planning and delivering creative, child-centred learning.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Builds strong, positive relationships with children and encourages a love of learning.
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Clear Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
