The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across a range of critical contracts. This role requires a proactive engineer who can ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Conduct system inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work across a variety of sites including MOD, MOJ, healthcare, and educational facilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver a high standard of service.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and system conditions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer.
• Relevant HVAC qualifications (e.g., F-Gas, City & Guilds in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration).
• Gas qualifications (e.g., COCN1) desirable but not essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to undertake further training and development.
