Neighbourhood Care Operative

<p><strong>Neighbourhood Care Operative needed in Bolton Paying  £13.74 per hr ref 000B 2940 / 1</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong>  </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manually sweep and collect litter, debris, and detritus from highways, open spaces, and shrub areas.</li> <li>Remove fly-tipped waste and safely deal with sharps in accordance with procedures.</li> <li>Undertake manual and mechanical removal of animal fouling from public areas.</li> <li>Remove accident debris and dead animals from highways and public spaces.</li> <li>Empty, clean, and maintain litter and dog waste bins.</li> <li>Carry out grounds maintenance duties, including: <ul> <li>Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers.</li> <li>Grass edging.</li> <li>Hedge cutting.</li> <li>Shrub and flower bed maintenance.</li> <li>Shrub pruning.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Undertake pedestrian street sweeping and leaf clearance.</li> <li>Remove graffiti from public property and infrastructure.</li> <li>Perform routine watercourse inspections and checks.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining playgrounds, street furniture, and undertake painting where required.</li> <li>Complete worksheets and records accurately.</li> <li>Carry out winter maintenance activities, including gritting footpaths and pedestrian routes.</li> <li>Undertake driving duties associated with service delivery.</li> <li>Support the delivery of a high-quality neighbourhood environment.</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
