About the Role
<p><strong>HGV Class 2 Driver 6668</strong></p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong><br />
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire</p>
<p><strong>Hours: </strong><br />
48 hours per week – night shifts (typical start times 23:00–02:00)</p>
<p><strong>Salary: </strong><br />
£35,284.60 per annum + £20 weekly safety bonus</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of an HGV Class 2 Driver:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Safely operate Category C vehicles in line with UK legislation, CPC requirements and tachograph regulations</li>
<li>Complete multi-drop deliveries, ensuring accuracy, stock rotation and product quality</li>
<li>Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly</li>
<li>Load and unload products safely, including manual handling</li>
<li>Follow all health & safety, food hygiene and security procedures</li>
<li>Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business on the road</li>
<li>Provide route cover during holidays or absence</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Skills of an HGV Class 2 Driver:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Full UK Category C licence</li>
<li>Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card</li>
<li>Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach</li>
<li>Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends</li>
<li>Newly qualified drivers welcome – full training provided</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Progression Opportunities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relief / run-out driver</li>
<li>Upskilling to Class 1 (Category CE) at the Tewkesbury site</li>
