Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can flourish.
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, adapting teaching where required.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour using the school’s behaviour policy.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including meetings, training and school events.
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs, ensuring high expectations for all learners.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school (placements considered for ECTs).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
