<p><b>Job Title:</b> Transport Supervisor – Maternity Cover ( 12 months)<br />
<b>Location:</b> Stanford-le-Hope, Essex.<br />
<b>Employment Type:</b> Full-Time, Maternity Cover<br />
<b>Salary:</b> circa £37500pa + discretionary bonus</p>
<p>We are currently looking for a Transport Supervisor to lead logistics team, liaise with commercial team and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>To manage and coordinate daily transport activities (Goods in and out)</li>
<li>Liaising with commercial, procurement and production teams</li>
<li>Ensure the smooth and on time delivery of products to the end customer in compliance with ADR/IMDG/IATA standards</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain transport records, reports, and KPIs.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all the regulations</li>
<li>Maintain fleet performance and third party logistics service providers</li>
<li>Ensure dissemination of transport / freight rates among commercial colleagues is consistent and timely</li>
<li>Assist in other scheduled and ad-hoc activities to ensure the smooth and efficient commercial and logistics operation of the site</li>
<li>Other general duties</li>
</ul>
<p><b>What We’re Looking For:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet supervision</li>
<li>Customer or supplier interface experience</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team-management skills</li>
<li>Import/Export process or customs experience desired, but not mandatory</li>
<li>Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.</li>
<li>Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Good communication skills.</li>
</ul>
<p>Working hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm</p>
<p>Once full training has been completed, there might be a possibility work work from home 1-2 days a week.</p>
