<p><strong>Property Pool Plus Manager needed in Birkenhead Paying  £26 per hr ref OR104277</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage the <strong>Property Pool Plus / Allocations Team</strong>, ensuring delivery of an efficient and customer-focused service</li> <li>Oversee the <strong>housing register, banding, allocations, and appeals processes</strong></li> <li>Provide expert guidance on <strong>allocations policy, procedures, and best practice</strong></li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with <strong>registered housing providers and partner organisations</strong></li> <li>Represent the service in <strong>local and sub-regional partnerships</strong> relating to choice-based lettings</li> <li>Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to support <strong>vulnerable groups</strong>, including those at risk of homelessness, domestic abuse survivors, and care leavers</li> <li>Manage complex and sensitive cases, working alongside <strong>social care, health, and support services</strong></li> <li>Respond to high volumes of <strong>customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations</strong></li> <li>Deliver <strong>presentations and training</strong> to colleagues and external partners</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement, ensuring services are responsive to local housing needs</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
