About the Role
We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team at an SEN school in Scunthorpe, working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and additional complex needs.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Support KS3 and KS4 students in their learning, both 1:1 and in small groupsAssist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and practical activitiesPromote positive behaviour, independence, and social developmentSupport students with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and other additional needsHelp with emotional regulation, communication, and personal care where necessaryEnsure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationshipsCommunicates effectively with students, staff, and parentsWorks well as part of a team and follows school policiesIs committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhy Join Us?Supportive, experienced, and friendly teamOpportunity to make a tangible difference every dayTraining and professional development opportunitiesInclusive, student-focused school environmentSafeguardingOur school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
