Factory Trainer - VR/31867

A well-established and fast-paced food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory Trainer to support operational excellence across its production departments. This is a permanent staff role based in Aberdeen.

The Factory Trainer will deliver structured induction and on-the-job training to new and existing employees across production departments. You will ensure all staff are fully competent before sign-off, maintaining clear training documentation and audit-ready records at all times.

This position requires strong communication skills, patience and the ability to adapt training methods within a cold, fast-moving production environment.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Delivering factory inductions and practical line training.
• Training staff on production processes, hygiene, allergen controls, CCPs, GMP and PPE.
• Providing coaching and refresher training as required.
• Supporting Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
• Maintaining accurate training records and audit-ready documentation.
• Liaising with Production Managers, Supervisors and HR on training needs.

Applicants to this role require

• Experience in food manufacturing (fish processing desirable).
• Confident delivering practical training in a fast-moving, cold environment.
• Strong communication skills, with experience supporting multilingual teams.
