Home / Career / Senior Python Developer SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER Apply Now SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER Apply Now COUNTRY Europe FORMAT Remote Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Python Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a leading global provider that gathers information and reports to enhance the environmental and social impacts on the business.  This role is perfect for someone who thrives in building scalable, high-quality applications.  Tech Stack:  Backend: Python, Django + SQLAlchemy, Celery + RabbitMQ, OpenAPI;  DB: PostgreSQL, Redis;  Frontend: React + TypeScript, OpenAPI, Playwright;  CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines;  Infrastructure: k8s+Terraform, Azure, Heroku, GCP.  REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in backend with Python and its frameworks. Comprehensive understanding of the web development process: design, development, deployment, and maintenance. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with Agile development methodologies. The ability to plan, track, and ensure timely delivery Strong English communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within squads. NICE TO HAVE Experience with Java, C++, C#, Rust, Ruby, and Go. Experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript. The ability to manage development projects from conception to completion. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and maintain applications collaborating within cross-functional squads such as engineers, designers, and product managers. Actively participate in squad meetings to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, leveraging cross-functional expertise to address complex challenges. Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and contribute to improving code quality and test automation within a team-oriented environment. Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and foster a culture where everyone can learn and grow together. Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web development, sharing knowledge and insights with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
