- Elementary Job Title: Teacher Job Status: Permanent/Part Time Contact: Mr. Andrew Lowry, Principal E-Mail: principallowry@staglenmills.org Job Description: St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School in Glen Mills, PA is seeking a passionate and qualified Part-Time Honors English Language Arts Teacher to join our dedicated faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of literature, writing, and critical thinking while supporting the academic and spiritual growth of our students within a faith-centered environment. Responsibilities - Teach Honors-level English Language Arts curriculum aligned with diocesan and school standards - Design engaging lessons that promote critical reading, analytical writing, and effective communication - Differentiate instruction to challenge high-achieving students - Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback - Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school-wide academic goals - Maintain clear communication with students and families - Uphold and model the values and teachings of the Catholic faith Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field - Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification or eligibility preferred - Experience teaching middle school or high school ELA, preferably at the honors level - Strong classroom management and organizational skills - Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of the school Work Schedule - Approximately 20 hours per week - Schedule to be determined based on course assignments If the position is offered, the candidate will be required to complete the “Protecting God’s Children” training through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
