A highly respected, design-led London practice is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join its growing team, working across a varied portfolio of listed buildings, heritage projects and high-end hospitality schemes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an architect who combines strong design ability with excellent technical knowledge and enjoys taking projects through the later stages of delivery. You’ll work on architecturally sensitive projects where careful detailing, materiality and an understanding of historic buildings are central to the work.

This established and highly regarded architecture studio is known for its thoughtful approach to heritage, adaptive reuse and hospitality projects, transforming existing and historic buildings into carefully considered contemporary spaces.
The practice has a strong reputation for design quality and technical excellence, with a collaborative studio environment where architects have genuine responsibility and work closely with senior team members, consultants and clients.
The Role
As a Senior Architect, you’ll take a key role across projects from design development through to technical delivery and construction, with the opportunity to have real influence over both the design and delivery process.
Project Delivery
- Lead projects through all RIBA Stages, depending on project requirements.
- Develop detailed design and technical information for complex heritage and hospitality schemes.
- Produce and oversee high-quality drawing and specification packages.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and wider project teams.
- Resolve technical challenges while maintaining the overall design intent.
- Take responsibility for project programmes, deadlines and deliverables.
- Attend site meetings and support projects through construction.
Design & Collaboration
- Contribute to the design development of high-quality, detail-focused projects.
- Work closely with Directors and senior members of the team.
- Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Support and mentor more junior members of the team.
- Help maintain the practice's high standards of design, detailing and technical delivery.
About You
- Qualified ARB-registered Architect with strong post-Part III experience.
- Proven experience working at Senior Architect level.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience delivering projects through all RIBA Stages.
- Experience working on listed buildings, heritage, conservation, hospitality or adaptive reuse projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of construction detailing and technical coordination.
- Confident managing consultants and contributing to client relationships.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks is desirable.
- A keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in architecture, materials and craftsmanship.
