Manual Machinist Express Employment Professionals in Oregon City is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a growing team! Work for a reputable local Rubber Roller and Rubber Molder manufacturing company. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, pays attention to detail, and thrives in a hands-on environment. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: $25.50 Location: Clackamas, OR Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual machines to perform precision machining operations Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining processes Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories according to specifications Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and precision standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Accurately read measuring instruments down to .0001 Operate lathes, knee mills, band saws, and various hand tools Set up and run jobs assigned by supervisor Read and interpret drawings and prints Take instructions on or assist in repairs and maintenance around the plant Experience: Previous experience as a Manual Machinist or in a similar role is required Experience with manual milling machines and lathes Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manual machining operations Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality Knowledge of warehouse operations for inventory management Ability to perform welding tasks when requested If you are a skilled Manual Machinist looking for a new opportunity, we want to hear from you!
