Job Description
  • Responsible for the day-to-day pharmaceutical care and management of patients.
  • Supervises Pharmacy Technicians to ensure compliant and efficient operations of the pharmacy.
  • Checks all work of Pharmacy Technicians in line with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Interacts with patients, health care providers, clinics, and prescribers.
  • Reviews prescriptions prior to dispensing and verifies all questionable prescriptions.
  • Ensures appropriate storage of products in compliance with all laws and regulations.
  • Maintains required continuing education credits to retain licensure.
Critical Information
  • On-site position with a shift of 8 hours.
Education/Licenses Needed
  • Current license to practice Pharmacy in Texas.
  • Graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by ACPE or graduate of a foreign college of pharmacy.
