About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and self-driven Senior Quantitative Analyst to enhance our risk analytics, execution monitoring, and trading intelligence capabilities.

In this role, you will apply advanced mathematical modeling and data-driven research to evaluate market risk, trading behavior, and execution performance. You will operate with significant autonomy, owning problems end-to-end, from data extraction and hypothesis testing to model implementation and deployment.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong academic foundations in quantitative sciences with hands-on experience in trading environments. You will move beyond theoretical research to develop practical tools and logic that directly improve product performance and risk management. You will also have the freedom to leverage modern technologies, including AI and LLM-powered workflows, to accelerate research and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large-scale pricing streams and high-frequency trade logs to model market risk, execution quality, and flow toxicity
  • Develop algorithms to detect abusive trading behaviors such as latency arbitrage, toxic flow, and market manipulation
  • Design, validate, and optimize mathematical models for exposure monitoring and pricing strategies
  • Conduct Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) and back-test hedging logic to improve liquidity management and execution outcomes
  • Build independent monitoring tools to visualize real-time trading metrics, slippage, and firm-wide risk exposure
  • Utilize AI-powered tools and modern data techniques to enhance analytical efficiency and pattern recognition.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in Quantitative Risk, Market Microstructure, or Trade Analytics within the FX/CFD industry
  • Deep understanding of trading mechanics, including A/B-book models, liquidity aggregation, and pricing formation
  • Proven ability to independently retrieve, process, and analyze high-frequency time-series data
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern AI-assisted analytical workflows (including LLM tools)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to convert mathematical theory into practical, automated systems

Nice to Have:

  • Experience applying Machine Learning techniques for anomaly detection or predictive modeling in trading
  • Familiarity with trading infrastructure (MT4/MT5 servers, FIX protocol)
  • Experience working with high-performance analytical databases such as ClickHouse.

Note: This is a full-time position based in Cyprus with a relocation package & visa support available.
