Currently, we are looking for a Backend Developer to join our Loyalty Team and support the development of scalable and high-quality backend solutions.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for implementing new functionalities, maintaining existing systems, and contributing to the overall architecture and code quality. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help build reliable microservices-based applications using modern technologies and development best practices.

You will join the Loyalty Team and drive initiatives end-to-end: from understanding the business problem, through design and implementation, to production. The Product Manager brings the vision and the problem — you own the solution.

• You will be responsible for implementing new functionalities and maintaining existing code, with a focus on a 70% emphasis on new feature development and a 30% focus on maintenance.
• You will design and develop applications as well as take care of the code quality and contribute to the overall architecture.
• You will follow the best development practices and recommend optimal solutions.
• Alongside regular team work, you will take on initiatives — a mode where you get a free hand: you make the decisions, design the solution, implement, test and release it yourself. Nobody interrupts you along the way; in return, you own fast delivery and meeting business expectations.
• Within an initiative, going a step further is welcome: you make sure the solution genuinely works from the client's perspective — and if you spot a way to improve it, you tune it.
• You will participate in routine events like: daily, refinement, planning, review, retrospective.

PHP, Laravel, Symfony, Claude Code (our daily driver), MCP servers, custom skills & agents, internal plugin marketplace, MySQL (MariaDB), MongoDB, Redis, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, RESTful API, GIT, GitLab CI/CD, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js.

• Backend Expertise — Proficiency in PHP, with a focus on Laravel/Symfony frameworks.
• AI-First Mindset — Hands-on experience with Claude Code (preferred) or Cursor in real projects — and you know when the model proposes nonsense and aren't afraid to call it out.
• Testing & Database Skills — Solid experience in unit testing alongside familiarity with relational databases, particularly MySQL (MariaDB).
• NoSQL & Architecture — Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis and Event Sourcing.
• DevOps & Ecosystems — Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, message broker RabbitMQ, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitLab.
• API & Version Control — Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and proficiency in version control using GIT.
• Architecture Knowledge — Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Product Thinking — You ask "why" before "how" and would rather ship a working solution this week than a perfect one next month.
• Soft Skills & Languages — A collaborative team player with excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, with a communicative level of Polish and English.

For candidates interested in B2B cooperation, we're currently considering engagements up to 18,000 PLN net per month, depending on experience and the complexity of the projects.
For outstanding senior candidates, we're open to discussing a higher compensation package. Depending on experience, scope of responsibilities, and overall fit, the salary range for an employment contract may be extended up to 14,900–21,000 PLN gross per month.
