Part Time Payroll Specialist

I’m supporting a well-established and growing international business based in Royston that is looking for an experienced Payroll professional to oversee its outsourced payroll operations across multiple European countries. This is a part-time temporary role where you will play a key role in delivering accurate payroll processing and supporting employees with pay and benefits queries. Key Responsibilities•         Coordinate the timely and accurate processing of multiple European payrolls through external payroll providers•         Ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on schedule, including statutory payments and compliance requirements•         Manage payroll activities including joiners, leavers, holiday pay calculations, attachments of earnings and statutory payments•         Administer employee benefits programmes, including pensions and health related benefits•         Oversee pension administration, including auto enrolment and salary sacrifice schemes•         Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll inputs such as overtime, sickness and holidays are captured correctly•         Prepare and upload payroll journals to the finance system•         Respond to employee payroll queries and provide guidance where needed•         Keep up to date with payroll legislation and support ongoing improvements to payroll processes Experience Required•         Proven payroll experience, ideally working with outsourced payroll providers•         Experience managing European or international payrolls•         Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements•         Experience administering employee benefits and pension schemes•         ADP payroll experience would be advantageous•         Strong Excel skills•         Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate confidently in a standalone payroll role What’s in It for You•         Up to £25.00 per hour (depending on experience)•         Part time working, three days per week, ideally Tuesday to Thursday in the Royston office•         Opportunity to join a supportive HR team within a growing international organisation•         Immediate opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a key operational role
