They are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to join the business during an exciting time of growth. Job Description The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Manager will include: Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Review and reconcile supplier statements to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Oversee the preparation of payment runs. Monitor and manage accounts payable processes, identifying areas for improvement. Maintain relationships with suppliers and address queries professionally and effectively. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Provide training and guidance to team members as needed. The Successful Applicant A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have: Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role ideally with experience supervising a team. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively. Knowledge of financial regulations and internal control practices.
