Location: Remote – East Coast


Our Client is a growing boutique insurance brokerage specializing in employee benefits and group insurance solutions. With a lean, entrepreneurial structure and a dedicated back-office team of underwriters, account managers, and administrative professionals, we deliver high-touch, consultative support to small- and mid-sized employers. We provide producers with deep operational support so they can focus on what they do best—driving growth.

This position is open due to rapid growth and the firm’s decision to double down on sales talent. With a strong support infrastructure already in place, this is an opportunity for an experienced producer to plug into a scalable platform and focus almost exclusively on business development—without being bogged down by administrative work.


Position Summary

The Employee Benefits Broker / Producer is responsible for generating new business and expanding the firm’s client base among small- to mid-market employers (typically 30–100 lives). This is a revenue-focused role centered on consultative selling, relationship development, and long-term book growth. Producers are supported by a 20-person employee benefits service and administration team, allowing them to remain highly client- and sales-focused.

This role is fully remote for experienced producers with a proven track record of independent production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Conduct client needs assessments and design tailored employee benefits solutions
  • Present and sell group benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary lines
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close and onboarding
  • Collaborate with underwriting, account management, and leadership teams to deliver competitive proposals

Required Qualifications

  • Active Life & Health insurance license
  • 5–10+ years of employee benefits production experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of group benefits and funding arrangements
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience selling to small- and mid-market employers


What We Offer

  • Base salary of $100,000 to $150,000 plus uncapped commissions on both new and renewal business.
  • On Target Expectations (OTE): $175,000-$200,000 in year one for experienced Brokers/Producers.
