Our client offers digital tools such as interactive maps and automated link monetization, enabling creators, publishers, and event organizers to increase affiliate revenue without additional effort. This role is cross-functional, working across multiple teams and projects to drive testing strategies and quality initiatives. You will play a critical role in defining QA methodologies, building comprehensive test plans, improving test coverage, and ensuring robust quality standards across products, including internal and external APIs, user-facing applications, and services. REQUIRENMENTS 5+ years of experience in QA testing, with a proven track record of elevating software quality in a fast-paced product environment. Strong expertise in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience executing manual API tests and validating responses using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools such as TestRail, Jira, Zephyr, or similar. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and release management processes. Understanding of querying databases (such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL) to validate data integrity and backend processes. Familiarity with cloud environments, web architecture, and distributed systems. In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, exploratory, integration, localization, and usability testing. Excellent command of the written and spoken English language. It is necessary for clear, effective communication. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to workautonomously, investigate complex issues, and collaborate effectively. B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical QA experience. RESPONSIBILITES Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and detailed test cases for end-to-end, functional, regression, and API testing to ensure high-quality software releases. Establish and enforce manual testing standards, documentation, and best practices to improve overall test coverage and product reliability. Work closely with multiple development squads and product managers, ensuring comprehensive QA support for both existing and new features/products. Set up, organize, and manage a robust test case inventory to centralize and streamline testing efforts across the organization. Define and enhance the bug handling process, including detailed reporting, tracking, prioritization, and continuous improvement of bug resolution cycles. Provide detailed test execution and coverage reports, offering insights to help teams identify quality gaps and release risks. Conduct thorough exploratory and usability testing as a critical part of the Definition of Done for all release cycles, finding edge cases that scripted tests might miss. Mentor developers and peers in QA best practices, test case design, and edge-case identification, advocating heavily for a quality-first mindset.
