About the Role
You'll manage key operational functions with ownership and autonomy in this role. You'll be responsible for:
Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new caregivers
Managing payroll and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Scheduling caregivers and maintaining smooth client care operations
Guiding clients through their onboarding process
Ensuring compliance with regulations and handling office management tasks

What We're Looking for in a Care Manager
Experience: Office management and business operations experience are highly desired. Home care experience or experience scheduling in an adjacent field, such as hospice or healthcare, is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
Compassionate and Empathetic: A heart for your community and a desire to provide valuable services. Willing to partner with clients who may be going through challenging life transitions.
Committed: Available to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, OR Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM with an on-call rotation to coordinate last-minute changes in scheduling (approximately one weekend per month, occasional after-hours calls).
Adaptable: Able to navigate changes to the schedule and problem-solve scheduling challenges to ensure all clients receive excellent care.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships and provide support while professionally handling client and caregiver concerns.
Confident: Provides accountability to the caregivers when working their scheduled shifts. Willing to ask questions if there is a call-off, scheduling change request, or tardiness issue.
Computer Skills: The ability to learn new technology. Experience with WellSky ClearCare is a plus.
