VAT Manager

Exciting Opportunity for a VAT Manager at a top 20 firm! Are you a highly skilled and motivated VAT expert looking for a new challenge? My client, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, is seeking a talented and experienced VAT Manager to join our established and growing specialist VAT team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high quality VAT advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including complex and international clients, not-for-profit organizations, charities, and educational institutions. You will be responsible for identifying and leveraging VAT opportunities from within our existing client base, as well as attracting new clients through various initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to develop strong relationships with clients, introduce other service line specialists, and support the VAT Partner and Director in delivering the financial and strategic targets of the VAT service line. You will also be responsible for managing and developing junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring. To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a VAT consulting role. You should possess strong VAT technical knowledge, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a commercial and practical approach to winning and delivering work. You should also have relevant professional qualifications (CTA/AIIT/ACA/ACCA) and/or experience in advisory roles.
