As an <strong>Industrial Maintenance Electrician</strong>, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems across a large, fast‑paced facility—from administrative buildings to heavy industrial and mining environments. Your work ensures reliability, safety, and efficiency in a plant that values teamwork, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.</p><h2><br /></h2><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li><strong>Industrial Electrical Repairs</strong> — Perform electrical maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on industrial and mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.</li><li><strong>Instrumentation & Controls</strong> — Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment, gauges, instruments, and control systems.</li><li><strong>Troubleshooting & Diagnostics</strong> — Identify root causes of electrical issues and coordinate effective repairs to minimize downtime.</li><li><strong>Preventive Maintenance</strong> — Conduct routine PM tasks on electrical and automation systems (approx. 50% of workload).</li><li><strong>Project Work</strong> — Support and execute electrical and automation projects (approx. 25% of workload).</li><li><strong>Corrective Maintenance</strong> — Respond to unplanned equipment issues (approx. 25% of workload).</li><li><strong>Team Collaboration</strong> — Participate in daily safety and planning meetings; work closely with fellow electricians to share knowledge and build skills.</li><li><strong>Safety & Compliance</strong> — Follow OSHA/MSHA rules, maintain clean work areas, and use required PPE at all times.</li><li><strong>Technical Documentation</strong> — Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings; use computer‑based tools for reporting and planning.</li></ul><h2><strong>Essential Skills & Experience</strong></h2><ul><li><strong>Industrial Electrical Experience</strong> — 3–5 years in industrial maintenance; aggregate/cement/heavy industry preferred.</li><li><strong>Instrumentation & Automation</strong> — Hands‑on experience with automation systems and instrumentation.</li><li><strong>Power Distribution</strong> — Knowledge of systems up to 4,160 volts.</li><li><strong>PLC & Drive Systems</strong> — Experience with PLCs, digital drives, motor controls, and relay logic.</li><li><strong>Technical Literacy</strong> — Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and plant‑specific software.</li><li><strong>Blueprint Reading</strong> — Skilled in interpreting mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings.</li><li><strong>Communication & Problem‑Solving</strong> — Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.</li><li><strong>High school diploma or equivalent.</strong></li></ul><h2><strong>Additional Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><strong>SAP/CMMS Experience</strong></li><li><strong>Pneumatics Knowledge</strong></li><li><strong>Vibration/Flow Analysis</strong></li><li><strong>Preventive Maintenance Programs</strong></li><li><strong>Bilingual Skills</strong></li><li><strong>Advanced Controls Experience</strong></li></ul><h2><strong>Why You’ll Love Working Here</strong></h2><p>Join a <strong>unionized electrical team</strong> with guaranteed annual wage increases, clear progression, and long‑term stability.
