<h1>Industrial Maintenance Electrician</h1><h2>Position Overview</h2>Step into a critical role that keeps an entire industrial operation running. As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems across a large, fast‑paced facility—from administrative buildings to heavy industrial and mining environments. Your work ensures reliability, safety, and efficiency in a plant that values teamwork, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.<h2> </h2><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Industrial Electrical Repairs — Perform electrical maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on industrial and mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.</li><li>Instrumentation & Controls — Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment, gauges, instruments, and control systems.</li><li>Troubleshooting & Diagnostics — Identify root causes of electrical issues and coordinate effective repairs to minimize downtime.</li><li>Preventive Maintenance — Conduct routine PM tasks on electrical and automation systems (approx. 50% of workload).</li><li>Project Work — Support and execute electrical and automation projects (approx. 25% of workload).</li><li>Corrective Maintenance — Respond to unplanned equipment issues (approx. 25% of workload).</li><li>Team Collaboration — Participate in daily safety and planning meetings; work closely with fellow electricians to share knowledge and build skills.</li><li>Safety & Compliance — Follow OSHA/MSHA rules, maintain clean work areas, and use required PPE at all times.</li><li>Technical Documentation — Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings; use computer‑based tools for reporting and planning.</li></ul><h2>Essential Skills & Experience</h2><ul><li>Industrial Electrical Experience — 3–5 years in industrial maintenance; aggregate/cement/heavy industry preferred.</li><li>Instrumentation & Automation — Hands‑on experience with automation systems and instrumentation.</li><li>Power Distribution — Knowledge of systems up to 4,160 volts.</li><li>PLC & Drive Systems — Experience with PLCs, digital drives, motor controls, and relay logic.</li><li>Technical Literacy — Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and plant‑specific software.</li><li>Blueprint Reading — Skilled in interpreting mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings.</li><li>Communication & Problem‑Solving — Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li></ul><h2>Additional Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>SAP/CMMS Experience</li><li>Pneumatics Knowledge</li><li>Vibration/Flow Analysis</li><li>Preventive Maintenance Programs</li><li>Bilingual Skills</li><li>Advanced Controls Experience</li></ul><h2>Why You’ll Love Working Here</h2>Join a unionized electrical team with guaranteed annual wage increases, clear progression, and long‑term stability.
