About the Role
Are you a hands-on Financial Controller who enjoys stepping into a business at a key point in its growth?
We’re working with a fast-growing, international professional services firm to appoint an experienced Financial Controller on a 6–9 month fixed term contract. The business operates across multiple jurisdictions and is preparing for its first external audit, creating a genuine opportunity to add value quickly.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working closely with senior leadership and a Fractional Finance Director to strengthen controls, reporting and processes. Hybrid working is offered, with one day per week in the London office.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading the operational finance function, including management accounts, AP, AR, billing, cash flow and FP&A
Owning month-end close and delivering timely, meaningful management information
Supporting preparation for the first external audit
Improving financial controls and processes across international entities
Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight
Managing and developing a small finance team
What we’re looking for:
Proven Financial Controller (or equivalent) experience within a professional services environment
Exposure to multi-entity and international structures
Strong technical knowledge, including IFRS and FRS 102
Audit experience and confidence working with senior stakeholders
ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
What’s in it for you:
Salary c. £80,000–£90,000 (DOE)
