About the Role
A mid-sized, stable manufacturer in Winston-Salem is looking for some machine operators. As a Machine Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in production. The company is locally owned, has been a model of stability in the area for years, and has good opportunities for growth. Applicants should have a solid work history and some mechanical aptitude. Duties: - Operate and monitor various types of machines. - Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. - Use hand tools and other equipment as necessary to perform job duties. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. - Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications. Qualifications -Basic math skills -Ability to use dial calipers, snap gages, and micrometers. -Prior manufacturing experience. -Ability to be on their feet for several hours. - Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred. - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks. - Basic understanding of machining principles and techniques.
