Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Occupational Health | Travel Assignment
Wilmington, Delaware | Monday–Friday Day Shift | Immediate Start

Rhino Medical is seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a travel assignment supporting an onsite occupational health and workplace injury prevention program in Wilmington, Delaware.

This position offers the opportunity to transition from traditional emergency response into a proactive occupational health environment where you'll help keep employees healthy, prevent workplace injuries, and support early intervention efforts. Assignment Details

  • Location: Wilmington, Delaware
  • Position: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Assignment Type: Travel Contract
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: Through August 30, 2026 (extension potential)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Setting: Industrial Occupational Health Clinic

Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and initial assessment for workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Perform employee triage and determine appropriate levels of care
  • Assist with injury prevention initiatives and ergonomic assessments
  • Educate employees on workplace safety and injury prevention
  • Support return-to-work and early intervention programs
  • Complete accurate documentation and incident reporting
  • Collaborate with occupational health staff, safety teams, and site leadership
  • Maintain OSHA and company compliance standards

Qualifications

  • Active EMT certification and Delaware licensure (or eligibility if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous occupational health, industrial, emergency medical services, urgent care, or emergency department experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a professional onsite clinic environment
  • CEAS and/or OSHA 10 certification preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping and workers' compensation processes is a plus
