Rhino Medical is seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a travel assignment supporting an onsite occupational health and workplace injury prevention program in Wilmington, Delaware.
This position offers the opportunity to transition from traditional emergency response into a proactive occupational health environment where you'll help keep employees healthy, prevent workplace injuries, and support early intervention efforts. Assignment Details
- Location: Wilmington, Delaware
- Position: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Through August 30, 2026 (extension potential)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
- Setting: Industrial Occupational Health Clinic
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and initial assessment for workplace injuries and illnesses
- Perform employee triage and determine appropriate levels of care
- Assist with injury prevention initiatives and ergonomic assessments
- Educate employees on workplace safety and injury prevention
- Support return-to-work and early intervention programs
- Complete accurate documentation and incident reporting
- Collaborate with occupational health staff, safety teams, and site leadership
- Maintain OSHA and company compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active EMT certification and Delaware licensure (or eligibility if applicable)
- Current BLS certification
- Previous occupational health, industrial, emergency medical services, urgent care, or emergency department experience preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a professional onsite clinic environment
- CEAS and/or OSHA 10 certification preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping and workers' compensation processes is a plus
