About the Role
<p>The Shrink Analyst II plays a key role in supporting operational excellence by conducting detailed data analysis related to inventory audits, cycle counts, and store-level clerical activity. This position helps identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements that drive accuracy and reduce loss across the organization. The Shrink Analyst II also manages and coordinates third-party auditors while collaborating closely with fellow analysts on the team to ensure consistent execution, accountability, and strong overall shrink control initiatives.</p>

<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with stores, DL's and RL's on proper practices for a more accurate inventory process; review and train them on reports that are used to determine shrink and better their knowledge of the audit process as a whole</li>
<li>Manage and coordinate third party auditors for efficient auditing and time management. Review schedule with Operations for final approval</li>
<li>Provide action plans to DL's and RL's that focus on shrink issues, follow up and ensure that the action plan is being followed</li>
<li>Conduct Daily Pre-audit clerical reviews for assigned stores; partner with Store Accounting and/or Store Manager for discrepancies</li>
<li>Conduct Post audit review and analysis to determines trends; report findings to management team and partner with Loss Prevention as needed</li>
<li>Work closely with third-party audit team to review count results prior to posting</li>
<li>Track item trends across the organization, identifying issues that may require external support</li>
<li>Collect and analyze data to identify fraudulent activity and ensure compliance with company asset protection policies</li>
<li>Develop statistical reporting of store inventory data and provide analytical support to management team</li>
<li>Create and manage shrink and waste reports for distribution to field leadership</li>
<li>Present reduction strategies to field leadership; track, monitor and measure the benefit of implemented solutions</li>
<li>Communicate perceived risks to senior staff members and leadership with recommendations for mitigation</li>
<li>Create ad hoc reporting as necessary</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>

<li>Maintains confidentiality of all company information, is forthcoming in reporting all policy and procedural violations and any wrongdoing to the director of human resources</li>

<p><strong>EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>

<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>

<li data-section-id="167x2l9">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field</li>
<li data-section-id="167x2l9">A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.</li>

<li>Required to work Monday – Friday regular business hours or as business necessitates </li>

<li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times</li>
