Yard Operative FLT

<p>Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join their busy team.</p> <p>This is a physically demanding, hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.</p> <p><b>Duties will include:</b></p> <ul> <li>Loading and unloading lorries using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.</li> <li>Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.</li> <li>Assisting customers with collections and providing a professional service.</li> <li>Organising and maintaining stock within the yard.</li> <li>Manual handling and handballing of heavy materials.</li> <li>Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.</li> <li>Supporting the wider team with general yard duties as required.</li> </ul> <p><b>The Ideal Candidate:</b></p> <ul> <li>Holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).</li> <li>Has previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment.</li> <li>Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out heavy manual work.</li> <li>Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.</li> <li>Can work well both independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Has good communication and customer service skills.</li> <li>Is reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.</li> </ul> <p><b>What&#8217;s on Offer:</b></p> <ul> <li>Full-time, ongoing opportunity.</li> <li>Career Progression</li> <li>Immediate start available for the right candidate.</li> <li>Opportunity to work with an established and well-respected business.</li> </ul> <p>If you&#8217;re an experienced Yard Operative with a valid FLT licence and are looking for your next opportunity, we&#8217;d love to hear from you.
