About the Role

<p class="MsoNormal">The Electrical System Design Specialist will oversee the creation, improvement, and optimization of electric components. This position entails collaborating with various teams to develop innovative solutions that meet efficiency, performance, and reliability standards.</p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph">Generate intricate designs for electric components and systems, such as rotors, stators, windings, and casings, utilizing CAD programs.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal/electromagnetic simulations to enhance motor efficiency and ensure adherence to design requirements.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Produce prototypes and carry out tests to validate designs, address problems, and enhance metrics like torque, efficiency, and durability.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to guarantee designs are cost-effective, manufacturable, compliant with industry standards, and exceed product specifications.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Create technical documentation, like design specifications, test reports, and bill of materials (BOM), to support product development and production. processes.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Recognize opportunities to refine designs for increased efficiency, reduced weight, and lowered production expenses.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Ensure designs adhere to pertinent industry standards and environmental laws.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Handle multiple design projects concurrently, adhering to deadlines and upholding high-quality standards.</li>

<p class="MsoNormal">Qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li class="MsoListParagraph">At least 5 years of experience in design engineering.</li>
<li class="MsoListBullet">2 years of specialized experience in electrical design.</li>
<li class="MsoListBullet">Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.</li>
<li class="MsoListBullet">Proficiency in CAD software.</li>
<li class="MsoListBullet">Experience with FEA tools for structural, thermal, and electromagnetic analysis.</li>
<li class="MsoListBullet">Knowledge of motor design principles, encompassing thermal management, electromagnetic theory, and material selection.</li>
