About the Role

<p dir="ltr">As the Lead Food Researcher in Cincinnati, OH, you will be responsible for conducting research, testing formulas, making decisions, and bringing new food products to market. This role involves collaborating with various teams across departments to achieve company goals. You will work independently under the guidance of the Senior Research & Development Manager, using your technical expertise to develop new products and improve existing ones.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Job Functions:</p>
<ul>

<p dir="ltr">Manage complex product and process development projects, identifying problems and finding solutions to enhance products and processes.</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Maintain detailed records of formulation variables and data analysis.</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Plan experiments to assess product attributes, such as taste and texture, and lead trials to ensure quality during scale-up.</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Provide technical support to customers, create Nutrition Facts Panels, and collaborate with teams to optimize processes.</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Develop project timelines, identify cost-saving opportunities, and guide junior scientists in formulation requirements.</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Oversee specification creation, collaborate with suppliers, and stay informed about industry developments.</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Participate in product cuttings, make fact-based decisions, and ensure food safety and quality standards.</p>

<p><strong><br /></strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">Requirements: BS in Foods Science, 7 years of experience in product development, and technical knowledge of ingredients and food systems. Proficiency in regulatory compliance, project management, and problem-solving skills. </p>
