Join Our Team as a Technician, Analyzer – Drive Excellence in Emissions Monitoring and Analytical Solutions!
Are you a skilled technician passionate about ensuring the integrity and safety of environmental monitoring systems? We are seeking a dedicated Technician, Analyzer to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize a range of critical emission and process analyzers at our state-of-the-art facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, contribute to environmental compliance, and support safety-critical operations in a dynamic industry setting.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proficiency in installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing analytical instrumentation such as gas chromatographs, infrared and ultraviolet detectors, and various process analyzers.
- Strong understanding of Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID), PFDs, and control software programming.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance, system modifications, and overhauls with precision.
- Skilled in using test equipment including voltmeters, leak detectors, and analyzer software (e.g., GC8000).
- Excellent record-keeping, reporting, and communication skills for technical documentation and compliance reports.
- Capability to operate safely at heights up to 150 feet and lift heavy cylinders up to 80 lbs.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with environmental compliance standards and regulatory reporting (EPA, TCEQ, FERC, DOT).
- Familiarity with calibration gases, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Experience with analyzer system software updates and modifications.
- Knowledge of safe tool use and practices in hazardous environments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in instrumentation or HVAC preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in analyzer maintenance, repair, or environmental monitoring equipment.
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license and clean driving record are essential.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel to off-site locations as needed.
- Participation in on-call rotation for weekends and holidays.
- Commitment to adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies, including safe work practices and SDS compliance.
