We’re seeking a dynamic and organized Health & Benefits Promotion Specialist to support and elevate well-being initiatives at a leading organization in Houston, TX. What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Health Science, Public Health, Exercise Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in employee well-being, health promotion, benefits administration, or event coordination.
- Proven ability to organize and execute well-being campaigns and employee-facing initiatives.
- Strong marketing skills to create engaging communications, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion handling sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed, and ability to travel approximately 10-15%.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work independently or collaboratively in a team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with employee well-being platforms, incentive programs, or benefits apps.
- Background in communications campaigns, intranet content, or employee marketing.
- Vendor management experience.
- Knowledge of current trends in health promotion, mental well-being, and workforce engagement.
- Professional certifications such as CHES, ACSM, SHRM-CP, or similar.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to health or wellness fields.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in wellness program coordination.
- Experience supporting corporate wellness events and external vendor collaborations.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to support and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Willingness to support employee engagement activities, health fairs, and community involvement such as Houston Corporate 5K or MS150 events.
- Willingness to travel domestically (10-15%).
