Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of kinship carers and their suitability to provide care. Developing and implementing support plans tailored to the needs of children and families. Working closely with children, parents, and extended family members to gather information and insights. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements. Attending court hearings and providing expert testimony when necessary. To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in kinship care or family support. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
