Planning Lawyer – Southampton (Hybrid Working)

We’re working with a highly regarded law firm in Southampton that’s looking to expand its Planning and Environmental team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm with a strong reputation for high-quality work and long-standing client relationships.

The Role:

You’ll be advising a range of public and private sector clients on all aspects of planning law, including:

• Planning applications, appeals, and inquiries
• Section 106 agreements and infrastructure planning
• Compulsory purchase and judicial review
• Environmental and highways matters

You’ll work closely with Partners and Senior Associates on complex, high-value projects across the South and beyond, while also managing your own caseload with autonomy.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ–10 PQE) with planning law experience
• Excellent technical and drafting skills
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build lasting client relationships
• Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
