What You’ll Do as a Service and Aftermarket Manager

  • Design and execute the overarching North American aftermarket and client service strategy for advanced automation technology.
  • Draft, standardize, and oversee commercial service agreements, including SLAs, preventative maintenance packages, and extended warranties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer care, navigating technical escalations, warranty claims, and system reliability improvements.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and manage a dependable network of third-party regional service partners to ensure widespread field coverage.
  • Formulate a comprehensive spare parts lifecycle plan, managing critical inventory forecasts, parts pricing, and supply chain coordination.
  • Direct field service operations, establishing standard maintenance protocols, troubleshooting checklists, and safety compliance benchmarks.
  • Manage the department's annual operational budget, performance metrics, and business expansion plans.

What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical expertise).
  • 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience managing industrial equipment service, factory automation, or field service networks.
  • Proven success designing and implementing service contracts and operational workflows completely from scratch.
  • Strong technical literacy regarding industrial robotics, electrical/mechanical systems, and automated machinery.
  • Highly developed negotiation and communication skills suited for high-level client agreements and partner management.
  • Proficient with digital workplace tools (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern service tracking software (ERP/CRM).
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across North America to interface with clients and service partners.
