About the Role
Sirius Staffing is hiring multiple Entry Level Biodiesel Operators / Loader I for a night shift opportunity in Danville, Illinois. This is an entry-level position supporting plant and facility operations, including monitoring processes, performing routine operational tasks, and loading/offloading finished products and raw materials. Pay Rate: /hr Benefits Offered + PTO hours accrued 18-month assignment with potential for extension or full-time hire based on business needs and performance Schedule: Night shift, PM to AM, Monday through Friday Will start out on the day shift for a few days to complete on-site safety orientation before transitioning to the night shift. Daily Responsibilities Operate and monitor company plants and facilities, typically upstream facilities after primary separation and processing, such as gas and co-gen plants, and downstream and chemical refineries and plants. Monitor process variables, troubleshoot issues, and perform interventions to maintain operating performance. Perform routine tasks independently. Work under general supervision for non-routine tasks. Load and offload finished products and raw materials from tankers into storage tanks. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Entry level: to years of experience as an operator Some experience in a manufacturing setting Basic knowledge of operating pumps and valves Basic knowledge of refinery policies and practices is a plus.
