Key Accountabilities</p><hr><p>The role requires you manage loan applications from submission of the application form through to completion assisting the underwriters and liaising with all third-party stakeholders, where necessary, including, but not limited to, brokers/solicitors/valuers.</p><p>You will be responsible for all inbound call taking and keeping data up to date for the whole team.</p><p>You will be responsible for taking ownership of allocated cases from submission of the application form through to completion.</p><hr><h4><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></h4><ul><li><p style="border:0px solid rgb(238, 239, 242);margin:0px;">Answering and distributing incoming calls in a professional manner and actioning where appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Handling incoming queries from our introducers and/or customers regarding potential and existing loan applications.</p></li><li><p>Preparing loan documentation/term sheets.</p></li><li><p>Following up on documentation sent with our introducers.</p></li><li><p>Updating data on spreadsheets.</p></li><li><p>Liaising with our underwriting teams to provide high standard of service to our broker partners.</p></li><li><p>Assess loan documentation, including valuation reports and requesting additional information from brokers where required, highlighting any concerns</p></li><li><p>Carry out checks on the applicants and properties and assess their suitability for the loan applied for</p></li><li><p>Proactively chase outstanding information from third parties and timely updates to introducers to enable service excellence</p></li><li><p>Liaising with introducers and solicitors</p></li><li><p>Overseeing cases from inception through to completion</p></li></ul><hr><h4><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Pass internal competency tests post induction</p></li><li><p>Team player</p></li><li><p>Self Motivated</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills essential for dealing with brokers, borrowers, and lenders</p></li><li><p>Proactive</p></li><li><p>Logical and organised</p></li><li><p>Problem solver</p></li><li><p>Approachable</p></li></ul><h4><strong>Knowledge &amp; Qualifications</strong></h4><ul><li><p>GCSE English &amp; Maths</p></li><li><p>A knowledge of bridging finance or experience in the lending market is preferrable but not essential.</p></li><li><p>Experienced in use of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
