<p><b>Role Overview</b></p>
<p>As a Factory Operative, you will support the manufacture, assembly, and preparation of specialist construction products within a busy production environment.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and flexible, with the willingness to work across multiple areas of the factory as required.</p>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Operate machinery and production equipment used in manufacturing rubber, plastic, and fire safety sealing products.</li>
<li>Assemble, cut, and prepare materials to required specifications.</li>
<li>Assist in the production of intumescent and acoustic sealing solutions.</li>
<li>Carry out manual handling duties, including lifting, moving, and packaging products.</li>
<li>Work across different departments (production, finishing, packing, dispatch) as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure all products meet required quality standards.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment.</li>
<li>Follow all health and safety procedures.</li>
<li>Support with stock control and order preparation for dispatch.</li>
<li>Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Essential Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.</li>
<li>Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.</li>
<li>Punctual with excellent timekeeping.</li>
<li>Flexible and willing to work across different roles / areas of the factory.</li>
<li>Positive attitude with a “can do” approach to hard work.</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety procedures.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Desirable (Not Essential):</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Forklift truck (FLT) experience or licence.</li>
<li>Previous manufacturing or factory experience.</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence.</li>
<li>Working environment.</li>
<li>Factory-based role within a manufacturing and production setting.</li>
<li>Physical work including lifting, standing, and manual tasks.</li>
<li>Use of PPE and adherence to strict health and safety standards.</li>
