Opening: Medical Receptionist
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $22-25.50
We are currently seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join a busy and growing healthcare practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Greet and check in patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
- Assist with insurance verification and patient paperwork
- Process incoming correspondence and documentation
- Support daily front office operations
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all patients
Qualifications
- Previous medical front desk experience preferred
- Insurance verification or medical insurance background highly preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy office environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers and basic office software
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
