We are seeking a Locums CRNA
for a float position providing anesthesia coverage across Clare, Gladwin, and
West Branch, Michigan. This is an independent practice model with a strong
variety of bread-and-butter cases and a manageable call schedule primarily
based in Clare.
Schedule
Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Hours: 6:30
AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Call Requirements
Call primarily based in Clare
No OB call
1-hour response time required for Clare
Call Rotation: 1:3
1–2 holidays per year
Weeknight Call: Until 11:00 PM
Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Practice Setting
Independent CRNA model
80–90% Outpatient / 10–20% Inpatient
EMR: Epic
Case Mix & Procedures
Scopes / GI (GI cases at Gladwin only)
Bread-and-butter general anesthesia
cases
Laparoscopic abdominal procedures
Ophthalmology (Cataracts)
Podiatry (4 days per month)
Orthopedics (½ day per month; includes
blocks)
Vascular (occasionally, approx. 1 day
per month)
Cardiology (TEEs, Cardioversions)
General anesthetics, MAC cases
Regional anesthesia (blocks optional;
support available if refresher needed)
Ward & Emergency Department support
(IV access, airway management, anesthesia expertise)
Requirements
Active Michigan license
ACLS
PALS
BLS
Experience practicing independently
preferred
