<p>Our client is a <strong>newly acquired manufacturing business</strong> operating independently within a larger organization.</p>
<p>This position is crucial for <strong>managing accounting, payroll, HR, and office operations</strong> during a transitional phase and setting up structures for future expansion.</p>

<h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Accounting and Finance</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>Responsible for <strong>month-end closing, financial statements, and reports</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Handle <strong>general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and cash flow</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Prepare financial data for parent company and assist with consolidated reporting</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Implement and manage <strong>cost accounting framework</strong> in a manufacturing setting</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Forecast budgets, analyze variances, and work with external CPA on tax matters</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Payroll and HR</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>Manage payroll processes and ensure <strong>payroll tax compliance</strong></p>
</li>

<p>Administer benefits, PTO, and employee records</p>
</li>

<p>Handle onboarding/offboarding and employee relations</p>
</li>

<p>Serve as <strong>HR contact point</strong></p>

<h3><strong>Operations and Office Management</strong></h3>

<p>Supervise daily office operations and vendor management</p>
</li>

<p>Support plant leadership with reports and projects</p>

<p>Get involved in logistics/trucking coordination initially</p>
