About the role:
Justteachers are working in partnership with a well respected Secondary school in Kings Lynn who are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a full time role starting in September.
This school is committed to delivering high quality education and ensuring every student is supported to achieve their potential. The Maths department has a strong team ethos, with staff working collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and help students develop confidence and competence in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students in developing confidence with number, algebra, geometry, and problem solving
- Differentiate learning activities to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback that supports improvement
- Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations
- Create a positive and focused learning environment that encourages participation
- Contribute to departmental planning and the sharing of best practice
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths within a Secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching up to GCSE level
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
- Effective classroom management and organisational skills
- A commitment to maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Two recent education based references
