About the Role

Architect/Senior Design Lead Licensed architect with exceptional design and leadership skills to join our firm on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the creative direction, design development, and technical execution of projects, working in collaboration with firm leadership as a design leader with the potential to advance into a principal design role. Collaborate with firm leadership to establish and maintain design direction across multiple project types. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Salary Range $75K - $110K Pensacola, Fl. #3463 #1601 Requirements: Strong portfolio that demonstrates design excellence, technical expertise, and creative problem-solving across diverse projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design visualization tools preferred Licensed architect in the state of Florida with a minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project leadership Bachelor's or Master’s degree in architecture Responsibilities: * Lead and participate in all phases of design-from concept and schematic design through construction administration. * Develop design concepts, presentations, renderings, and visual materials for client and stakeholder engagement. * Oversee & coordinate the production of detailed construction documents to ensure consistency w/design intent & technical accuracy. * Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery. * Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to achieve integrated design solutions. * Conduct site observations, review submittals, respond to RFIs, and participate in construction administration. * Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards. * Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the studio. * Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations. * Deep understanding of construction materials, detailing, and building systems * Proven ability to lead collaborative design processes and manage client relationships effectively * Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills * Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to balance multiple projects * Passion for thoughtful, well-crafted design and a commitment to advancing architectural quality
