HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) - UK

he Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shifts: Shifts across Monday to Sunday

- Full time

-Part time / AD-HOC

-Weekends

Hours : Afters/Nights

Pay Rate:

Monday to Friday- £18.15ph PAYE 

Saturday- £23.52ph PAYE 

Over time (anything over 8 hours) Monday to Saturday- £25.25ph PAYE 

Sunday- £26.25ph PAYE- Flat rate 

Bank Holidays- £34.25

The role:

· Trucking only 

· Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.

· Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.

· Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.

· Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

· Have at least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.

· Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm - 9 pm (all paid at night rate).

· Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
