We are currently recruiting for a Director of Global Procurement for our client in the digital photo industry. This role is integral to driving their international sourcing strategy and supporting their aggressive growth plans over the next five years.

About the Role:

As the Global Director of Procurement, you will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the leadership team. Your focus will be on procurement and supply chain management for products, capital assets, IT supplies & consumables, and technology-related software & services, ensuring alignment with the company’s international standards, processes, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to optimize costs, warehousing, and supply chain efficiency.
• Lead and manage a global team sourcing products from the GCC, China, and the Far East.
• Oversee procurement of various products, including curated merchandise, printing services, photo and video equipment, IT consumables, cloud services, software applications, business/employee medical insurance, and staff accommodation & transportation.
• Maintain and manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards.
• Analyze market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and risk management strategies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the team.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and strategic sourcing plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals and innovation.

Minimum of 15 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience managing a global team of 25+ specialists.

Proven global experience sourcing from the GCC, China, and the Far East.
