About the Role

<p><strong>Events Administrator needed in Harlow Paying  £14.88 per hr ref 23160</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Skills and Competencies</strong><em>Administration</em></p> <ul> <li>Experienced in providing comprehensive administrative support within a busy events environment.</li> <li>Skilled in maintaining accurate records, organising documentation, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> </ul> <p><em>Mailbox Management</em></p> <ul> <li>Confident in monitoring and managing shared mailboxes, responding to enquiries promptly, and escalating queries to relevant team members when required.</li> <li>Able to prioritise requests and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><em>Event Coordination</em></p> <ul> <li>Experienced in supporting the planning and delivery of events, including coordinating paperwork, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all required documentation is obtained.</li> <li>Strong ability to support event setup and provide on-site assistance when required, including evenings and weekends.</li> </ul> <p><em>Customer Service and Stakeholder Engagement</em></p> <ul> <li>Professional and approachable when dealing with event organisers, community groups, suppliers, council officers, members, and external partners.</li> <li>Skilled in building positive working relationships and providing excellent customer service.</li> </ul> <p><em>Database and Systems Management</em></p> <ul> <li>Able to accurately update and maintain event management systems, databases, spreadsheets, and records.</li> <li>Comfortable learning new systems and following established processes.</li> </ul> <p><em>Communication</em></p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience liaising via email, telephone, and face-to-face.</li> <li>Able to gather information, provide updates, and ensure stakeholders are kept informed.</li> </ul> <p><em>Organisation and Time Management</em></p> <ul> <li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, monitor deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><em>Financial Administration</em></p> <ul> <li>Experience chasing payments, obtaining quotes, processing information, and supporting financial administration related to events.</li> </ul> <p><em>Research and Problem Solving</em></p> <ul> <li>Able to conduct research, gather information, and find solutions to administrative and operational challenges.</li> </ul> <p><em>Teamwork</em></p> <ul> <li>Works effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the successful delivery of events and projects.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
