Billing Analyst

The objective is to ensure accurate and timely billing to TRAC’s customers. The ideal candidate is able to excel in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities. They must demonstrate initiative and have solid problem solving skills. Must be comfortable working independently or in a team setting and have strong excel and data reconciliation skills.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with entering alpha/numeric information into the company database</li> <li>Verify input data to ensure accuracy of completed work; scanning and editing for errors during processing</li> <li>Work as a team member to think conceptually about ways to efficiently collect data and enhance the database to maximize results/outcomes</li> <li>Gather documentation and research various databases</li> <li>Create and distribute reports for various pool, field, and operational activities</li> <li>Continue to identify and correct system issues and develop process improvements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties</strong></p> <p><strong> Qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred, but not required</li> <li>2 years experience in transportation or similar role preferred</li> <li>Ability to learn and adapt to in-house software systems</li> <li>Ability to function effectively in a dynamic working environment</li> <li>Ability to identify problems, process resolution and implement timely action or solution</li> <li>Ability to meet deadlines; prioritize workloads and handle multiple tasks.</li> <li>Ability to perform data entry type functions</li> </ul> <p><strong> Special Position Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li>Some evening and weekend work required.</li> <li>No travel required.</li> </ul> <p><strong> Work Environment </strong></p> <ul> <li>This position requires long periods sitting behind a desk and heavy data entry.</li> <li>This job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions.</li> <li>Tempo is fast-paced with stringent deadlines.</li> </ul> <p>Hourly pay rate budget: $22.00 plus 5% incentive bonus</p> <p>Compensation is determined by a variety of factors including candidate qualifications as well as the geographic location of the role and/or candidate.</p> <p>Benefits offered: Medical, dental, vision, Rx.
