About the Role


Work Location: Remote – source from Iowa only

Schedule:
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST
No overtime

Business Unit: Iowa Total Care
Position Overview
Grievance Coordinators (GC) review incoming complaints filed by members and/or their authorized representatives. Will make outbound calls to members to explain grievance process and gather any additional information. GC investigates the concerns and provides written resolutions within contractual turnaround times. Must be self-motivated with good organization and communication skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Organize caseload based on due dates
  • Complete case documentation in system
  • Make outbound calls
  • Send written communication
Candidate Requirements
Education:
  • Required: High School Diploma/GED

Licensure:
  • Required: N/A

Experience:
  • Preferred: 2+ years grievance or appeals, claims, or related managed care experience
  • Strong oral, written, and problem-solving skills

Disqualifiers:
  • None listed

Additional Qualities:
  • Knowledge about Iowa Medicaid Program and Services
  • Previous call center experience helpful
