We are currently recruiting for a Packing / Customer Service Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced team. This is a varied role combining hands-on packing duties with customer service responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both practical work and interacting with people.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately packing products in line with company standards
Preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation
Carrying out quality checks to ensure items meet required standards
Assisting with stock handling and general warehouse duties
Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional manner
Providing updates on orders, deliveries, and product information
Resolving basic customer queries and escalating where necessary
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or customer service role
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Basic computer skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable:
Experience in a combined warehouse and customer service role
Familiarity with order processing systems
